A framework to identify the right IRT solution for each trial
With increasing protocol complexity, supply chain pressures, and multiple trial management systems, Interactive Response Technology (IRT) has emerged as an important tool to manage randomization and drug supply. However, the challenge lies in discerning when to leverage the sophisticated capabilities of a purpose-built IRT and when a simpler EDC system with add-on IRT functionality (EDC-IRT) will suffice.
